About Asian Integration Initiatives

The Asian Integration Initiative, spearheaded by Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Banerjee is a transformative movement that fosters unity, collaboration, and cultural synergy across the Asian continent. This initiative envisions a future where nations across Asia work together in harmony, transcending borders to create a stronger, more integrated region.
In 1903, the Japanese Scholar Okakura Kakuzo declared that Asia was One. Prof. Gunnar Myrdal of Europe & Kenichi Ohmae from Japan had echoed the Idea of Asian Unity. During the period of 2nd World War, the concept of Asiatic Integration was launched and promoted by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Head of State of Provisional Government of Free India (Arzi Hukumat-e-Azad Hind) supported by Hideki Tojo, Prime Minister of the Empire of Japan, Zhang Jinghui, Prime Minister of Manchukuo, Wang Jingwei, President of the Recognized National Government of the Republic of China, Ba Maw, Head of State of the State of Burma, José P. Laurel, President of the Second Philippine Republic, Prince Wan Waithayakon, envoy from the Kingdom of Thailand. The resolution adopted at the Great East Asia Conference during 1943 was predominantly the most powerful initiative by seven nations present in the conference towards creating Asian Unity.
Vision & Concept Note
At the dawn of civilization the Vedic call of wisdom from Bharat had its transmittance and growth in newer forms of thoughts for civilized living as well as cultivating and adhering truth of the supreme through the cosmic realities into the forms and structures of minds and habitants. Differentiated wisdom of life grew at different plateaus of the earth system encircled by the related flora and fauna and sustained by the oceans and infinite air.
Among the others, Asia distinct out with certain specialized features :
- Prioritization of human being over others.
- Search for intrinsic truth within the human content while transacting with the rest of the world.
- Interiorization as a process and spirit with a priority over exteriorization.
Asia thus deserves becoming a unified entity with a voice and spirit of oneness to spread the same across the remaining part of the globe and help the human society become more intrinsically human with noble attributes.
To create a united, prosperous, and forward-thinking Asia by fostering educational and cultural exchanges, strengthening economic ties, and promoting a shared vision of global leadership. The Asian Integration Initiative seeks to harness the collective strengths of each nation to achieve sustainable growth and elevate the region’s global influence.
